Sounds of Revolution
It’s a short film about the sounds of mountain biking. We made it in 2007 and it was shot and edited within 48 hours and screened at Kendal Mountain Film Festival.
The 48 hours were quite epic. We registered ourselves in Kendal at the start of the 48 hours, drove up to Glentress in Scotland to film the biking, stayed in a very nasty B & B above a pub with dog hairs all over the bed linen, left in the morning before anyone was up so dodged paying for our room, sucessfully filmed the biking until karma caught up with us, Paddy snapped the car key in two, paid three times as much as the room cost to get a locksmith to let us back into our car, drove back to Kendal in the dark to edit the film. We finally watched our efforts on the big screen at the festival to a packed out room and polished the whole challenge off with a very nice Chinese meal.
